CCSP and Stimulus Grants for Greek Cafe (2009-2010)

CPR was top-ranked applicant for a National Park Service Challenge Cost Share grant of $30,000 to put a roof on the Greek Cafe building. Matching money at $94,000 came from the Butte-Silver Bow Urban Revitalization Agency. In 2010, CPR also won a Montana Dept. of Commerce grant using Federal stimulus money to further advance this effort. Vernacular Architecture Forum (2010)

The national Vernacular Architecture Forum awarded Butte CPR just over $4,600 in 2010, a returning of the overage from the 2009 VAF meeting in Butte to the community. These monies are earmarked for the HIP Grant Program.

Butte Community Foundation (2010)

The Butte Community Foundation awarded CPR $500 in 2010 to support the HIP Grant Program.

Montana Cultural Trust (2006, 2008- )

  • CPR received a special projects grant in 2006 that supported research and printing of our booklet on Stained Glass in Butte's houses of worship.
  • The Montana Cultural Trust also provided a Cultural and Aesthetic Grant for FY 2008-2009 that supports our office space and the quarter-time Public Relations Coordinator position.

Preserve America (2008-09)

CPR was awarded a sub-grant from the Montana State Historic Preservation Office, part of their Preserve America grant. The CPR grant provides partial support for our workshops in 2008-2009.
 

US Bank Foundation (2008, 2010)

Grants from the US Bank Foundation support the CPR HIP Grant Program.

BSB Urban Revitalization Agency (2007-08)

The URA provided 25% matching grants for the work on the Dumas.
