Objectives
- Promote public awareness of the value of historic
architecture.
- Encourage economic revitalization through historic
preservation.
- Provide public education regarding
Butte's historic architecture.
- Recognize individuals and groups for outstanding renovation and
maintenance of historic structures.
- Provide financial aid in
preservation, restoration, and revitalization of historic
structures.
- Promote historic preservation through public policy.
- Mothball abandoned buildings, securing and stabilizing them for
future use.
- Stop the demolition of architecturally significant buildings.
- Help prevent theft of historical
elements.
- Salvage architectural features
for reuse.
Membership
Butte CPR is a Butte CPR is a 501(c)3 non-profit Montana community
organization. Donations are gratefully
appreciated! Meetings are held monthly, on third Tuesdays; check the
home page or the calendar for
location. Information on levels of support, benefits, and membership are
on the donations page. CPR
Memberships are for the calendar year, and are due in January each
year.
Volunteers
Volunteers are critical to our operation! We have more and more
activities going on, and can ALWAYS use your help. When you do
volunteer for CPR, please keep track of your time, as it is vital in
terms of match for our Montana Cultural Trust Grant.
